Therapeutic indications<\/strong><\/p>\n

Candesartan works by blocking the hormone angiotensin II, which causes relaxation of the blood vessels and causes a decrease in blood pressure.
Hydrochlorothiazide belongs to the class of medications called diuretics. Its effect is to promote the urinary excretion of sodium, chloride and water, which results in a decrease in blood pressure.<\/p>\n

Contraindications<\/strong><\/p>\n

Candesartan is contraindicated in patients:
Pregnancy, lactation, primary hyperaldosteronism<\/a>, stenosis of the renal artery.<\/p>\n
